Job Description

Fire Consultant and Risk Assessor 

South East (Essex, Herefordshire, London & Surrounding Area, Home Counties)
South East Full time £38 – 43,000 per annum plus vehicle & generous package

This particular demand requires an experienced candidate to cover the South East of England. You will ideally be familiar with this territory enabling you to effectively manage and navigate your time and travel throughout Essex, Herefordshire, London & Surrounding Area, Home Counties in the most economical manner. A typical week would see you spend an average of one day working from home, with the remaining 4 days on the road delivering full Fire Risk Assessment and consultancy services at our customer sites.

Duties will include but are not limited to

  • Conducting full risk assessments on the nominated building as required.
  • Collating appropriate information and ensuring all documentation is utilised.
  • Providing reports as required.
  • Attending meetings and appointments to fulfil your activity requirements.
  • Ensuring that all risk assessments are submitted within contractual service level agreements.
  • Attainment of agreed targets, completing an allocated number of risk assessments each month.
  • Working closely with other departments where required.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role who is looking for a new challenge within a growing company.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of conducting Fire Risk Assessments.
  • An IFE, IFSM or IFPO accreditation.
  • Be on a current life safety risk register or be willing to work towards.
  • Full understanding of the current UK fire legislation and the ability to use fire safety guidance documents.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • A professional manner and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Additional Info

Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete a number of background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completion of these background checks.
