Job Description
We have a fantastic Opportunity for an electrical Surveyor based in the north west area.
Must have UK driving license
Job Description:
- Attending site visits to complete technical surveys and designs for electrical and fire alarm installations
- Support business development team with pricing on new tenders – site visits, take offs, labour requirements
- Produce fire alarm and electrical designs, drawings and pricing for existing clients
- Review of specifications and drawings on new tenders. Identifying and implementing value engineering options
- Ensure all electrical systems are designed and priced to industry standards
- Support in handover process from Business Development to Operations Team
Person Specification /Essential Requirements:
- Excellent computer literacy with experience of data input and word processing skills.
- Electrical and Fire Alarm Knowledge –Minimum requirements 18th Edition,
- Inspection and testing 2391/2 or equivalent. FIA units 1, 2 & 3
- Experience of reading and understanding schematic drawings
- Experience of producing fire alarm zone plans
- CAD Experience preferable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- To be able to work following specific instructions
- A good team player, who is capable of working under pressure with a high level of personal integrity
- Strong communication skills
