What you will deliver

You will be responsible for the installation of Electrical accessories, switch gear, small lighting and power on various sites in and around London and the southeast.
You will be part of a small team and may, on occasion be required to attend callouts for our maintenance department.
Carryout out 1st and 2nd fix for electrical installations.
Aid other members of the organisation as and when required. This may include helping & aiding the Maintenance team.
If required, supervise the work of Contractors and external service providers.
You will be flexible and may be required to work away from time to time.
Complete all necessary administration associated with reactive and planned maintenance work including updates onto our business and work management systems.
Work in line with company policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
Issue Permits to Work where required and follow guidelines and procedures.
You will leave sites in a clean and tidy condition upon completion of works and sending completion photos to head office.

Requirements for this position

You will be physically fit for working in apartment blocks and lifting equipment into properties.
You will have a clean driver’s licence and the willing to travel to multiple sites.
You will be qualified to City and Guilds or hold a relevant electrical technical qualification.
You will be qualified to 18th edition and have a current ECS card.
Be willing to gain future qualifications that will benefit the company and contribute to your growth within the company.
Previous experience fault finding and problem solving on electrical Installations.
Previous experience in filling out and accurately completing Electrical Test Certificates including minor works and emergency lighting certificates.
You’re a highly organised individual with the ability to work under your own direction.
You’re confident using IT and computers to be able to update records and reports.
You will hold a full clean UK driving licence to drive Company vehicles.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
